I'm a total newbie here. Got some basics from social media, but I wanna understand Bitcoin better. I think if I hold long enough and ride the waves, I can make a decent profit. Anyone got advice for a rookie like me?

First off, don’t panic about price dips. It’s all relative. Just a few days ago, Bitcoin was below $70k and look at it now, back stronger! Seriously, read up on Bitcoin’s limited supply and growing adoption. That’ll help you hold your nerve.

Investing in Bitcoin isn’t just about profits. It’s key how you keep it secure. If you mess up like storing it on exchanges or ignoring your seed phrase you could regret it big time. Remember not to overspend or depend solely on Bitcoin; it can come back to bite you.
Consider DCA, that dollar-cost averaging strategy. It helps you invest consistently without stressing over price changes. Just set aside a budget you can stick to each month. If the price drops, you buy more. Simple as that.
A few tips from me:
1. Bitcoin's history tends to repeat itself. Check the long-term charts; it’s usually a solid investment over time.
2. Patience pays off. Don't rush for profits; they’ll come in time.
3. Make sure you have a regular income. Many newbies get disappointed because they invest money they can’t afford to lose. Stick to a small percentage.
Yeah, it really is a long game. If you can hold for 3-4 cycles, your chances of profit go way up. Just start with the basics and make sure you have some income to play with. Knowledge, income, and faith in Bitcoin are key. You’ll learn tons once you dive in.
Bitcoin's made pretty accessible now. Think about what type of investor you wanna be. Do you wanna trade or just hold for the long haul? Figure out if you're buying in bulk or using DCA to accumulate when prices drop. Research is your friend.

Check out some beginner forums for more tips. Just a heads up though huge profits aren’t guaranteed overnight. Social media can hype things up too much. It's not a quick cash scheme but with the right approach, Bitcoin can really reward you.
