Ebang Unveils New Miners E9++, E10, and E10.1

Just saw the announcement live from the trade show.

Here are the new models Ebit E9++, E10, and E10.1. Pretty sleek looking, right?

The pricing is set at RMB1900 per TH... that’s about 30% higher than what Bitmain is offering now.

Really? For 10nm chips, that efficiency seems kinda lame.

Honestly, I'm not convinced. Sounds like a PR stunt to me. Sure, they might have some samples, but production? Not so sure about that.

Someone I know there said they’re planning to kick off production in January. Apparently Samsung helped with the chip design.

But how long till we actually see these in action?

Just got a message that E9++ will be $3680 each, and the PSU is $100. E10 is $4980, including the PSU. Minimum order is 100 units, delivery by end of January.

Count me out. I really thought these new players like Ebit would be better, but honestly, Bitmain seems like the lesser evil.

Totally agree, I heard the same prices. Ebang’s pricing feels like capitalism on steroids.

This market isn’t for regular folks anymore. Prices like these? Only big companies can afford them.

I checked their site; the E10 is listed as 10nm tech, but isn’t that still a stretch? I thought 10nm was just for low-power devices like phones? What’s the deal?

They haven’t actually listed any stock yet, so it’s not sold out. The specs say 10nm, but the chip info shows 14nm process. What’s up with that?

Why pay $1500 extra for just 4 more TH? Getting them earlier doesn’t justify the price jump. Unless you’re flipping them for a profit.
