Been mining ETH since 2021 and dust has wrecked my gear. Seriously, I’ve lost 6 motherboards to this mess. I live in a dusty area, it's like Texas here. I wanted to try Bitcoin mining now, but man, I need some solutions for this dust problem.

How about using cheesecloth or mosquito netting? Just make an open frame for your miner and cover it with the netting outside. Found some stuff on Amazon that looks promising.
Dust filters could’ve saved your motherboards, you can find them everywhere. I use them on my windows like mosquito nets. Maybe check out NerdAxe instead of BitAxe, it’s enclosed and should help with the dust.

Ten minutes a day is all you need to clean. Dust is everywhere, but regular cleaning means less worries. Electronics don't die instantly from dust; it builds up and then you notice it.

There are tons of 3D printable cases out there. Just Google it! I keep my gear clean with compressed air. Dust hasn’t bothered my setup, but sometimes I forget to hold the fans when cleaning.
Nah, you’re missing the point. Some places are just dust traps. Ten minutes isn’t cutting it, especially if he needs to clean every few hours. A good filter setup would help way more.
Ever thought about immersion setups? ImmergeAxe could keep your gear safe and dust-free in the fluid. Just gotta clean the radiator now and then.
But isn’t immersion fluid expensive? For a beginner, a better ASIC and mining in a pool seems smarter than solo mining with that setup.
For real... it gets annoying fast when the air is dusty. Miners should be in a sealed room and have air purifiers. Cleaning weekly instead of daily would be way better.
At 6000 RPM, ASICs can stay dust-free. Industrial filters at the air intake do the trick. I’ve seen ASICs run fine without filters too, unless you live near a wood shop.
Here’s a pic of what I’m using. No real dust issues unless you’re mining in a wood shop. Cases can cause overheating too, so just clean your gear and change thermal paste when needed. But honestly, solo mining with this device is a long shot.
