Seriously, is this for real or just some hype? I mean the US denied it later, but the market usually reacts to such news, right? Maybe Bitcoin just retraced a bit, what do you guys think?

Heads up, news affects market sharply! Traders rushed to act, especially since $80k was a big profit-taking point. And yeah, US denying this is good, but how do we even verify what's real and what's fake? It's wild out there.

Wait, so how does this news send Bitcoin up instead of down? It seems like a stretch to correlate a missile report with price increases. If this escalates into conflict, like bombing, then that’s a real market mover.

I don’t get why stuff like this affects Bitcoin's price so much. We're talking thousands of dollars... it seems a bit overblown.

The news is saying Bitcoin dipped to $79k after hitting $80k, not that it shot up! I get how the topic's misleading, but the truth is it went over $80k before dropping back. Just look at the charts.

Exactly! If something major happens, like military action, it won't benefit Bitcoin. Even if the news is fake, it still brings negativity to crypto. Bad news impacts prices more than good news generally.

I’m kinda skeptical about how much news really impacts Bitcoin anymore. Seems like random coincidences to me. There’s always war news, and prices will always fluctuate anyway.

If it's about economic news, okay sure, it can affect Bitcoin. But missile launches? That's a stretch. Feels like people are too eager to tie every event back to Bitcoin's price.

Bitcoin's around $80k now, which is good. I doubt that missile news will hurt its value. It’s been climbing lately, and if it goes above $85k, the next target could be $90k soon.

I think holders are cashing in after hitting $82k. But hey, a bull trap is also on the table! We've been in this $70k-$80k phase for a while now. The Middle East is always gonna be a wild card.

A $1k move is just noise, honestly. Bitcoin’s volatility is way higher than that. The dollar index and energy markets do play a role here, but it’s not about one piece of news.

Yeah, the initial headlines might panic people into selling. A short drop happened when we hit $80k, but it bounced back instantly. Now we're back over $80k again.

News can shake the market, but remember when similar Iran-US tensions didn't affect Bitcoin before? It’s a fickle thing; recently, it dipped briefly but came right back. Just don’t panic!

Honestly, I think a lot of this news just tends to mess with people's heads. Bitcoin reaching a certain price level before bouncing back isn't a new thing. War stuff shouldn’t dictate price movement.

I see your point. These headlines often don’t connect to Bitcoin's long-term price action. Drops happen, but they’re not always from current events. People just wanna find a reason for the ups and downs.

Exactly, some folks are really reaching when they try to link war activity with Bitcoin drops or rises. Prices fluctuate for all sorts of reasons, not just headlines.

There was a White House briefing today... they say peace talks with Iran are barely 1% likely to resolve anything. They won’t give up their uranium, so the tension isn’t going anywhere.

If this missile strike is true, it makes sense some investors panicked and took profits at $79k. The fear of US retaliation could really tank things.

Or maybe it’s just a simple market correction coinciding with FUD news. It’s always bumpy for Bitcoin; you can’t go up every day without a dip.

Yeah, the short-term effects can be exaggerated. People act on emotions then wonder why prices rebound so quickly. Bitcoin doesn't follow a straight path.
