Just saw this on Cointelegraph saying Bitcoin hit $70K. But when I checked CoinMarketCap, I saw nothing close to that. Are they just spreading fake news again?

Nah man, that’s old news. Bitcoin broke the $70K mark back in early March 2024. The new ATH is around $73K. You gotta check your dates, this info was legit but outdated.

Yeah, definitely check the publication date. This article is from March, so the info’s true but it’s not current. Right now Bitcoin’s sitting at $65K, almost there but still a bit off.

Oops, totally my fault. I got hyped about the price moves and didn’t look at the date. Thanks for pointing that out, I'll pay more attention next time.

Good catch everyone. The original post is from March 8, 2024. The market hit $73,777 on some exchanges before dropping to around $49K. Now it’s recovering, currently at $66,260. Gotta stay updated!
