Delay on WhatsMiner M20 Units

Twitter just dropped some news about the M20s delay. Looks like things might be swinging towards Bitmain and Avalon now.

This really sucks. I’ve got 8 units ordered, and just got word from my supplier yesterday. Fingers crossed we stick to 3 weeks max.

Wait, are we talking about M20 or M20S? Because that’s more than 520 TH if it’s the latter... A 3-week delay means 0.20-0.21 BTC lost before power costs. Not cool.

Yeah, 8x M20S for me too. Thought I had a solid deal but now it’s a big loss. I’m paying €0.07 per kWh. And now October and November orders are delayed too. They better do something for us.

Definitely reach out for some compensation. Even if it’s not huge, at least you’ll know where you stand. But I wouldn’t hold my breath for real refunds, probably just future discounts.

Might even get offered an M21 as compensation, worth around 880 bucks. I’ve seen people getting upgrades when their units were delayed.

Yeah, my M20S was almost a month late. They offered discounts on my next purchase, but by the time they got back to me, the chance was gone. This situation might be different with a larger order, though.

The info is buried, but I did find a confirmation link in another thread.

I had to go with replacements for T39s, but they’re now splitting the difference and sending T50s instead of T43s. But honestly, the T50 isn’t as efficient... might just cancel and grab Bitmain instead.

So I've gone through all the steps with my dealer. They say they’re in touch with MicroBT, but no miners have shipped yet. Just hoping for a notice soon.

I’ve heard pangolin isn’t shipping, and 2-3 weeks might really stretch to 5 weeks. Has anyone seen M20S shipped from them recently?

Doubt anything moved last week. Was a national holiday here. Are Laurent and Yang even answering? The telegram chat feels like a total spam fest.

I’m in the October batch for M20. I guess my order's gonna get delayed as well. Shipping should start next week if everything's normal... but I’m expecting a late November delivery.

I’m worried something bigger might have happened behind the scenes. Let’s hope we start seeing some shipping updates soon.

Nah man, Canaan’s been on time with their A1047s. Got mine last week. No reason to think the next ones will be delayed either.

Canaan might deliver on time but their efficiency isn’t great. Bitmain's been solid this year for me with no delays.

I’ve got a used A1041 coming. Canaan’s been fine with shipping, but their beta models are underwhelming compared to Bitmain’s S17 Pro.

Even my T17 is performing better than promised. I was told 40-42TH but I'm averaging 43-44TH easily.

Just heard from my salesman that my 8 machines are actually at the MicroBT factory now. I’ll update everyone once I get a tracking number.
