Hey folks, Trying to see how to find miners for a new data center in Australia. Got a Project Proposal Business Plan for a 1MW capacity, 200 racks at 5kW each. Originally planned for 3MW. Let's chat about setup costs and monthly fees for these racks, which includes electricity and cooling. Thanks, Dan!

First off, what’s the energy cost out there? 1 to 3 MW is pretty small, so you might not have much negotiating power. And cooling cost? Isn’t it super hot where you are? You need cheap power for this to make sense. 5kW per rack? Nah, you should think bigger. You want to catch the eye of major players? Go for 100+ MW. So yeah, cheap power is key. Heard the Australian grid is pretty rough to deal with. What about getting some Kiwi hydro? How close can you get to 4 cents per kWh?

Yeah, unless you have a steady non-grid power source, you’re in trouble. Energy prices are crazy high in Aus. Government policies are all over the place, too. They mine coal and uranium but don't use uranium domestically, which is wild. I mean, Australia has so much uranium but they won’t use it... lol.
