Been hanging out here as a lurker for too long. Wish I’d just stuck with BTC since day one. Overtraded like crazy for years and now I’m just chilling, no matter what happens with the market. Feels good to be back where it all started for me, I bet others feel the same. Emotions and friendships in this space... wild. By the way, I chatted with Mark Karpelès on a stream today. Glad to see you back! It’s funny, all the things that didn’t work out have the same excuse. Things that did work? Totally different story haha. And yeah, short-term trading is just like gambling with random noise.
Going back to where it all started? Definitely not too late! Experiencing both sides of investing helps build confidence in BTC. Trying out altcoins often comes from feeling like you missed the BTC boat, but we usually find out we’d have been better off just holding BTC.
Not late at all, we’re still at the start. Last block should be mined around 2140, maybe earlier if mining tech gets crazy. The future is what the Corn project is all about.
Never too late for BTC! There’s still massive room for growth, adoption, and market changes. But I gotta disagree on us being at the beginning. Most of the Bitcoin supply has been mined since 2009, so saying we’re still at the beginning isn’t accurate. But yeah, there are still solid opportunities for those ready to invest and hold long-term.
