Could Bitcoin Really See a 30% Drop Before Hitting $100K?

Bitcoin shot up near $99,800 but then dipped down almost to $90K yesterday. It rebounded to around $95K but seems to be struggling. Some analysts are saying that the $90K support is weak and we could see a 30% drop, which would mean falling below $70K. I'm skeptical about that unless we see a couple months of stagnation. Do you guys think they could be right?

Man, I hope so! I wanna stack more BTC, but these prices are eating through my fiat reserves. Tbh, I don’t get technical analysis at all, so I can’t weigh in with any financial expertise.

A 30% drop is hard to believe. There's no way Bitcoin goes down to 70K now. We're clearly in a bull market, and a major drop just isn’t happening. Even if we dip, I doubt it’ll go lower than 85K. Plus, with Trump taking office in January, that’ll probably push prices up even more. But honestly, predicting BTC is like shooting in the dark.

Remember March? We hit $73K, then drifted sideways for ages. We even dipped to $49K in August, which was over a 30% drop from the yearly high. If you missed the cheap coins back then, that was your chance. We’re in discovery mode now. Sure, we cooled off after hitting $99,800, but I don’t see a 30% dip coming anytime soon. $100,000 is pulling us in, and I bet we hit $200K next year.

Bitcoin’s bouncing back to 96K fast. If it hits 99K again, those waiting for 70K to buy are gonna miss out. There’s tons of good news in the crypto space, and it feels like this bull run has more steam left. If we hit a temporary dip, don’t panic it might just be a reset before another rise.

Interesting take here, especially as we revisit the $100K mark. Analysts can say whatever, but honestly, BTC below $100K is a steal. Just look at the folks who sold at $10, $100, or even $1K they must regret it.

Even if BTC dips below 90K, it doesn't mean it’s game over for predictions like these. Just because the price moves up doesn’t rule out future drops. I still think DCA is a solid strategy. But if you see sharp declines like when it hit $96K and $91K, that’s when I’d really DCA.

Sure, hoping for a 70K Bitcoin sounds nice, but that could create panic among anyone who bought in at 90K. Just wanting to buy now won’t get you many sats anyway. I honestly think we aren’t falling back to 70K just a little correction is happening.

Not every analyst gets it right, but their insights are useful. The 90K support looks strong right now. BTC's back at 96K, and if it keeps this up, we could be breaking into 100K soon. Second time's the charm, right?

Doubtful we'll drop below 74K this cycle. There are too many positive factors coming up next year. I mean, remember last year when we almost hit 35K? Sure, corrections happen, but don’t let them sway you.

I really don't see Bitcoin dropping 30% from its high. That’s only likely if there's some massive sell-off, like whales dumping their coins. The worst I expect is 80K-85K, and anything lower might freak everyone out. Those analysts seem to be speculating based on ETF flows, but there are way too many factors keeping Bitcoin afloat.

Totally get why prices dip as folks want to cash out once we hit 100K. That's always been the magic number for a lot of traders. I think we’re due for a healthy retracement to around 82K, but it could quickly bounce back to 98K and beyond.

Love your thoughts on the 100K threshold. Had a chat with a poker player who laid out a good argument about why we may struggle to break past it. It's like this defined goal for many holders, which can lead to sell-offs. But still, it feels like it’s a magnet pulling us closer.
