Seriously, quantum computers aren’t just gonna wipe out everything we’ve built in crypto. Some countries are already calling themselves crypto havens. You think a quantum computer can just come in and mess that up?

I see all this chatter about quantum threats to Bitcoin but what about the banks? They’re still not adapting to a post-quantum world and they’ll be hit hard.
Back in 2010, Bitcoin was basically worthless. Look at it now, soaring prices! People thought it was only for illegal stuff. But with quantum computing coming in 2026, folks are reconsidering holding onto Bitcoin.
Quantum gives you the clearest perspective. If you don’t secure your keys, that’s on you.
Google’s trying to grab a chunk of crypto by claiming quantum can crack Bitcoin. Whatever, we’ve heard it before from so-called experts. They talk down Bitcoin but end up buying in later.
Chip prices are going up, so this makes me think "immutable" is just a way to distract us.

Years ago, Satoshi hinted at these quantum issues. Big questions remain are quantum computers even strong enough yet? And do Bitcoin developers have upgrades ready to go?
It's all about how Bitcoin’s network works. If we keep the network secure and maintain a smooth experience, we shouldn’t be too worried about quantum. Accusations of threats don’t have any solid basis yet.
Theoretically, quantum can destroy encryption. I just asked an AI about it. If quantum brains are real, we’re facing good or bad outcomes. Either we’re toast or we advance as a species.
Why’s everyone freaking out about quantum? It’s been said multiple times that it isn’t really a threat to Bitcoin. Don’t let this quantum hype scare you away.

I’m skeptical about any serious threat from quantum. Right now, the tech isn’t even close to breaking Bitcoin encryption. Sounds like FUD to me.
I think we’ve got some time before quantum poses a real risk. But we need to stay alert. Major breakthroughs could change everything in a heartbeat.
So what’s your take on Google’s comments about quantum threats? I’m not worried unless it crashes Bitcoin's price significantly…but I doubt it.
The whole quantum thing has created a buzz, but there’s no solid proof of it being a real threat. We should be cautious, but not panic.
Bitcoin's been solid for years people worrying over quantum threats just don’t get it. I still believe in Bitcoin and its design.
Let’s remember, there are NO actual quantum computers out there yet. Sure, progress has been made, but we’re nowhere near having one that functions.

I’ve been researching quantum computers and honestly, they’re more likely to create market volatility from FUD than actually threaten Bitcoin.
But that doesn’t mean quantum is harmless. Isn’t it human nature to worry about what we don’t understand? Should devs rush to counter quantum threats?
The strength of Bitcoin lies in its community. We discuss these threats, and developers are actively working on solutions. They’re not just sitting back.
I get your point, but saying Bitcoin is too big to fail is wishful thinking. We need to be realistic about potential risks.
