I’m new here, so sorry if this has been asked before. Just wondering... can you combine ASIC miners? Like, if I point my S9 and T17 to the same pool, can they work together and boost my hash rate? Right now they’re just doing their own thing with around 95TH/s combined for any SHA-256 coin.

I figured it out! Just add the worker name after your Bitcoin address, like this: <BITCOIN ADDRESS.RIG_ID>. Now they show up with combined hash power. Pretty cool!

Wait, are you saying both miners get separate work even if they’re pointed at the same pool? That’s how it usually works, lol. If there’s a pool that doesn’t do that, it’s a total fail. Worker names don’t change the overall output. You can see what each miner is doing, but the total remains the same.

Dude, you’re making it more complicated than it is. Just use worker names like miner1(s9) and miner2(t17) and point them to the same pool. The dashboard shows the total hash rate. For solo mining at ckpool, you can skip the.RIG_ID and just use your BTC address. Simple setup!
