Choosing the Right ASIC Chip for S17+

Hey guys, I’m fixing some chips on my S17+ hashboard. How do I tell which one I should get? Is it really important if both chips fit the S17+?

Both models definitely work with the S17+. But honestly, it’s better to stick to the same chip type. There might be variations in performance and temperatures with the different models. Just a heads up.

I’d go for the BM1397AG chip. That's the original for the S17+. Most chips in the 17 series play nice together, but if you can grab the original, do it. Different serials can mean varying voltages for the chips.
