Cheers to Hal’s posthumous birthday! He played such a key role in making Bitcoin what it is today. We should remember him as long as Bitcoin exists.
RIP Hal. His name is forever part of Bitcoin’s history. Can't forget that.

I hope Hal's family pops in here. Would be cool for them to see all the love for him. Some think he might be Satoshi, but let's give credit where it's due. He did a lot for Bitcoin.
I really wish legends like him were still around. It's heartbreaking to think that many good people leave us too soon. But their legacy lives on and inspires future generations.

Nah, I have to disagree. Jameson Lopp did some digging and found evidence pointing away from Hal being Satoshi. He shared some solid reasoning for it.
Satoshi is well-known, but we often overlook Hal Finney, the guy who believed in Bitcoin from the start. Without his support, who knows if Bitcoin wouldn’t have just been a single user network.

Still, who cares about all these theories? Nobody can confirm who Satoshi is anyway. It's just history, and it doesn't change what Bitcoin is today.
True, everyone has their time to go. But what matters is the impact they leave behind. Hal's short life was full of significant contributions. He’d have been a great mentor.
Big lesson here. We should all aim to make a mark so our presence is felt long after we're gone. Hal did that for sure.
I’m convinced Satoshi is Nick Szabo. Like, 99.9% sure of it.
Honestly, I don't care who Satoshi is. We’re all part of this journey together. The hunt for his identity just distracts from what Bitcoin represents.

Reading this reminds me how unfair life can be. Hal was a total legend. But there are folks living healthy into their 70s while he passed so young. Just sad.
He might’ve left us too soon, but his contributions are immortal. Many people are forgotten, but Hal's legacy stands strong.
Definitely. Hal was a true gift to Bitcoin, tirelessly working for a better future even when facing ALS. It's a shame he didn’t get to witness Bitcoin's full rise.
