Anyone here know someone who got into trading and started making money in six to twelve months? I'm curious if they had any prior experience or knowledge that gave them an advantage. And did they have a full-time job while learning or were they just grinding on trading all day? Let’s hear some real stories, not just motivational fluff.

Honestly, just ask the traders here directly. Most have their own timelines for learning and when they actually started making profits. But let’s be real, a lot of folks lose money more than they win. Patience is key, but many don’t get that.

I have a friend from school who became an influencer, pushing her trading lessons. But honestly, becoming a profitable trader is not just a year-long journey. It takes time, money, and a lot of discipline. You can totally learn while working a full-time job, but expect losses along the way.

Yeah, we keep saying trading isn’t easy, but there are still some people here making good cash after just a few months. Most of them are putting in serious time to learn, so the results show. Knowledge, strategy, psychology, and discipline are essential. Patience is huge too. Wait for the right moments.

From my POV, learning to trade isn’t a quick thing. Newbies won’t just get it in a month. Those influencers saying you can learn in a year are kinda misleading. New traders need to go through stages, especially mastering risk management, which is key.

If you want to learn, reach out to Oshosondy here. He’s a solid trader. But honestly, if someone else becomes successful in 6-12 months, it doesn’t mean you will too. Everyone has their own path, so focus on learning your own skills.

From what I’ve seen, successful crypto traders often have backgrounds in stocks or something similar. They just adapt their knowledge to crypto. Not sure if in six to twelve months you can pick up what others learn over years. I’m no pro, just sharing observations.

Learning to trade profitably isn’t strictly about time. If you’re lucky or have an eye for spotting good strategies, you might make profits quickly. But honestly, a year of learning might just be wasted if you’re not committed. Watch others trade and find your own way.

There's no fixed timeline to learn trading. Everyone’s different, and many factors play into it. So you can’t really say how long it’ll take someone to get good. Skills don’t come overnight.

I’ve heard you can get profitable in spot trading in a year, but futures? That’s a different beast. I think futures traders just end up losing after a while. I moved away from trading myself; investing and holding Bitcoin has been way better for me.

Trading is tough. It’s not just about reading a book and boom, you’re good. Six months to a year? Nah, some traders make money fast, but it depends on many things. Even experienced traders can get rekt.

A buddy of mine started trading just a few months ago and is already making decent profits, even while working another job. But honestly, those kinds of people are rare. They often have a gut feeling for trading, and even when you ask for tips, they keep secrets. Better to figure it out yourself or maybe take a class.

Trading seems easy to learn but hard to profit from unless you really understand your strategy and keep emotions in check. You can make money one week and lose it all the next. Most traders lose money, so it’s tough for newbies.

There are a lot of traders here, but only a few are actually profitable on a regular basis. I think six to twelve months is a good timeframe to learn, but honestly, having a mentor could really speed up your success. Just be ready to pay for that knowledge.

You can’t really expect a one-size-fits-all answer to how long it takes to learn crypto trading. Everyone’s brain works differently. Some might nail it in six months, while others take longer. A lot of the hype on social media is just that hype.

The crypto market runs in cycles, and honestly, you need a few years to fully grasp trading in different market conditions. One year isn’t enough to see the full picture. Trading full-time is risky, and you really gotta be experienced and disciplined.

That’s me, actually. I traded in 2021 and made profits. But in 2020 and 2022, I lost. It’s way easier to make money in a bull market than a bear one. If you’re trading in a bear market, better look into shorting.

Yeah, I started trading in 2020 with zero experience. I held Bitcoin a bit, but that doesn’t count. I had a full-time job, but after making good profits, I jumped into full-time trading. It was stressful, and I lost a lot too. You gotta be glued to those charts.

Becoming profitable can happen at any time, even on your first trade. But can you stay profitable consistently? That’s the real question. Newbies often end up losing more than they win. It’s all about capital and market manipulation.

Focus on learning trading skills rather than stressing about how soon you’ll make money. Setting a timeline for skills is fine, but for profits? Don’t pressure yourself. Having a side job while you learn is smart so you’re not desperate for cash.
