Yeah, LocalBitcoins is basically centralized now. I mean, if they’re still around, KYC is probably mandatory. They blame their issues on the way they operate.
There are still ways to buy using fiat though. Cash is kinda rare now, especially in P2P. I think Binance stopped accepting cash for my local currency.
Bisq doesn’t need to be local. You can swap EUR for BTC using SEPA or services like Wise. Just be careful with why you’re sending money. Follow the setup tips, and you’ll find partners easily.
Wanted to grab Visa or even Bitcoin cards, but all the KYC and regulations make it tough. Gift cards are a joke too, like 10% off for Google Play? Seriously?
I’d say what DireWolfM14 mentioned is spot on. Bisq works everywhere, but sure, some areas might be dry. Maybe try getting small amounts from casinos; some let you withdraw without KYC, but not too much. Still, Bisq is your best bet.
Maybe I didn’t get it right, but there are virtual cards you can buy with BTC for online payment or even at POS. You can also pull cash from ATMs in Spain with those.
