I saw something interesting about secp256k1. The gcd of p-1 and n-1 is 6, which limits our options to lambda and beta for efficiency. But secp160k1 looks different. The gcd there is 30. This could mean better speedups. Anyone know how that endomorphism works for secp160k1?

That's a solid point! But I'm curious, how does secp160k1 even help with secp256k1? Is there a way to link them? I’ve got some endomorphism values handy. Trying to piece together the equations here... p=0xfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffeffffac73. Any thoughts?
Interesting stuff here. Let's not forget about that magic number 0x48ce563f89a0ed9414f5aa28ad0d96d6795f9c62, used in secp160k1's generator. If there's a small x-value point like (0x3, 0xc77a53fd35585a1db7ff873cb32855f89c655d8), and we look at the distance to the half generator using some hash, could we confirm its origin? Looks like some patterns in curve generation.
