Check out BigDb, it's a way to massively scale up a database of sequential public keys.

Cool, thanks for sharing! I tried running it on WSL but hit a wall with build errors.

Had to rename some headers and add a missing include. Now it builds, but running BigDb just says command not found.

Sounds like a setup issue. Maybe WSL is messing with the paths?

Could be. I got the DB generated with a million pubs and was testing search times for a couple of puzzles.

Found a couple of keys in under 3 seconds. Still need to try more.

1 million points is tough for keyhunt, ran into issues too.

Just subtracting pubkeys and seeing what came up. Got some interesting results.

I ran a command but it seems the BabyStep.bf file hits 2GB and stops. Is that normal?

Yep, that’s expected behavior.

What’s the cap for DB size? Can I go over 1 billion?

You might need to optimize the Bloom filter first.

How big can I go? I’ve hit some errors with larger values.

I think 200 million is the max. Anything over that crashes.

This is just a concept code, but optimizing could lead to better results if integrated well.

Any chance of optimizing this for practical use?
