So, bitprojects-io just shut down their over 3000 nodes. It’s crazy to think they were all linked to one entity! Anyone know why they did it? Seems like a bad move. I remember when everyone was talking about how their nodes had similar IPs. Now, with them gone, does it even affect Bitcoin? Should we be worried? Or does it just prove how resilient this network is?

It's definitely a big deal but honestly, Bitcoin won't crumble because of this. The network's design means a few good nodes can keep everything in check. Just because bitprojects went offline doesn't mean the whole thing's at risk. Plus, this is how decentralization works! If anything, it might just serve as a wake-up call for those who thought they could control the network with a massive node presence. Anyone who thinks otherwise just doesn’t get how solid Bitcoin is.
