Only three weeks till we hit 2026. Are we feeling bullish or bearish? With a third rate cut coming in just a bit and QT done, I’m leaning bullish. But I’m curious why some think otherwise... 2025 was pretty meh for Bitcoin and a total disaster for altcoins, so what gives with the pessimism for 2026?
Bitcoin in 2026 What’s the Outlook?

Bitcoin’s like a honey badger, it just keeps going. Sure, political factors play a role, but they’re only part of the equation. Remember, Bitcoin is all about being decentralized and neutral. Sometimes, we forget the core reasons we even have Bitcoin in the first place... Imagine AI bots accepting cash payments, right?

I gotta say, the macro picture looks better for Bitcoin going into 2026. With rate cuts on the horizon and QT wrapping up, liquidity should help BTC. But yeah, 2025 didn’t deliver the breakout many expected. Still, who knows? Maybe Q2 or Q3 will kick off a nice bull run, right?

Everyone's bullish on Bitcoin for 2026, but it’s all speculation. If a bunch of wealthy influencers say it, maybe it’ll sway the market. But I’m not stressed. I’m cool with DCA. Prices drop? I buy more. Prices rise? I profit. Win-win.

Honestly, I think we hit the ATH in 2025. Not sure we can hit another high before this year wraps up. Lots of new influencers and big companies hopping in, but I’m skeptical they can shift the momentum. I’m feeling more cautious and conserving my assets.

From what I’ve seen in past cycles, we might be nearing the end of this bull run. But given the economic landscape heading into 2026, people are hopeful QT ending and QE starting will push prices up. I’m taking profits and holding onto the rest for now, planning to buy more if it dips.

I’m hopeful for a bullish start to 2026, but we’ll see how the cuts affect everyone. It’s all about the economy responding.

Fed wrapped up QT earlier this month... but no signs on when they might kick off QE. High interest rates are still around. Why do you think things will improve next year? I’m skeptical. A third rate cut and pausing QT doesn’t scream growth to me.
Do you think we’ll hit a new ATH in Q1, then crash?

With current prices below 100K, I’m thinking it might be a slow start in Q1. I expect a bearish trend. The 4-year cycle isn’t holding steady, and I think we may face a longer bearish period this time.

I’m predicting a 60-65% price drop, but we’ll see if the trends hold. Nothing’s certain in this game.
Lower rates might push people towards stable investments, leading to demand for shares in Bitcoin-holding companies. If that happens, we could see BTC perform well into late 2026. I’m not stressing over price anymore. My focus is on stacking Bitcoin.
Starting slow, fast, or average in 2026 doesn’t matter... what matters is how much you can accumulate. Don’t limit your mindset, think big.

I see a bright future for Bitcoin! The demand for spot ETFs from big institutions is promising. We might see Bitcoin mature and stabilize, leading to less volatility in the long run.

I hate to be the downer, but I think we’ve hit the peak for 2025 at 126K. Unless the pattern shifts, I expect a drop in early 2026. But corrections are buying opportunities!
A missing comma totally confused me, man. I had to re-read your post to get it. But I agree, next month could be bullish. What tools do you use to track QT and QE?
Historically, Bitcoin enters bear territory after an ATH. If the pattern holds, 2026 isn’t looking good. I hope it’s different this time, but I suspect we’re in for a bear market. Best time to accumulate might be now.
Many believe the 4-year cycle explains the bearish sentiment. It’s just that Bitcoin's peak isn’t the same for everyone; maybe some are just rekt with their altcoins.

The Fed's balance sheet and global liquidity will play big roles. I’m curious about what you really think about your position.

I’m not convinced Bitcoin will hit a new ATH in 2026. I believe it’ll rise but not to insane heights again. It’s tough convincing myself we’ll see 150K, even if deep down we all want a massive leap. Just trusting my gut here.
