BIP110 Status Update Thread

Here's where we can track how BIP110 is doing. I'll drop updates on the node count from various sources. Expect a daily post from me with the latest info.

For tracking BIP110 signaling, I like using wicked smart bitcoin. Also, coin.dance is cool for node stats.

Counting nodes can be tricky, ya know? It's usually not super accurate. Like coin.dance still counts Segwit UASF nodes but for some reason, BIP110 nodes are not included. Makes no sense, right?

What column are you looking at for that data? I couldn't find anything for "110" or "rdts". Just the top version.

When on bitbo.io, check the "Top Bitcoin Nodes Version" section on mobile. You should see an entry around 4.11% at the bottom.

Quick update for June 14... Here’s the BIP110 node stats: Bitbo: 4.11%, Bitdis: 13.16%, Bitnod: 4.2%, BTCnodes: 15.2%, ClarkMoody: 7.32%, luke.dashjr: 12.76%. That's it for now.

June 15 update is here! Bitbo: 4.1%, Bitdis: 15.27%, Bitnod: 4.2%, BTCnodes: 15.3%, ClarkMoody: 7.32%, luke.dashjr: 12.93%. Signaling blocks: 1/184.

June 16 update: Bitbo: 4.11%, Bitdis: n/a, Bitnod: 4.4%, BTCnodes: n/a, ClarkMoody: 7.32%, luke.dashjr: 13.24%. Signaling blocks: 1/338.

June 17 update... Bitbo: 4.11%, Bitdis: 15.62%, Bitnod: 4.3%, BTCnodes: 15.6%, ClarkMoody: 7.32%, luke.dashjr: 13.04%. Signaling blocks: 1/473.

June 18 stats are in... Bitbo: 4.11%, Bitdis: 15.44%, Bitnod: 3.9%, BTCnodes: 15.5%, ClarkMoody: 7.32%, luke.dashjr: 13.08%. Blocks: 1/636.

June 19 update... Bitbo: 4.11%, Bitdis: 15.46% (up), Bitnod: 5.1% (big jump), BTCnodes: 15.5% (unchanged), ClarkMoody: 7.32% (staying the same), luke.dashjr: 13.33%.

+1 for your input! But I see BitBo over 11% and ClarkMoody at around 21%. So who’s reading wrong here?

Not all Knots are BIP110 nodes. Gotta remember, some haven’t switched to that fork. Let's not mix them up.

June 20 update: Bitbo: 4.11%, Bitnod: 3.9%, ClarkMoody: 7.32%, Bitdis: 15.67%, BTCnodes: 15.7%. Keep an eye on these changes.
