Hi all. Looking for some suggestions. Are there any better platforms for getting help with Bitcoin technical stuff? Thanks!

Honestly, after this place, I’d say StackExchange is decent. Check it out if you’re looking for answers. Reddit might work too, but be careful with the scammers there. They will hit you up in DMs, especially if you mention recovering a wallet or something.

I think this forum is the best spot. Lots of knowledgeable folks here. StackExchange can be good, but responses can take forever. I use it for research, but if you need quick help, it might not be the best. And Reddit? Total mess. Stay away from that if you can.

Totally agree, this forum is active and helpful. But if your issue is about the Bitcoin core wallet, have you thought about going straight to GitHub? They have an issue page where you can report things. Going by your previous posts, it looks like you were asking about some old wallet data from 2009 and 2010, right?

Just as a heads up, the OP was looking for help with files from back in 2009-2010, but nobody responded for some reason. Here's the thread if anyone's curious. It’s a bit vague and honestly doesn't sound like it’s related to Bitcoin. Like, Bitcoin didn’t launch with any ‘promotional stuff’ like what OP described.

You might wanna check out smaller communities on IRC or Matrix. They’re pretty dedicated to Bitcoin, but they have strict rules on how to ask questions. You gotta be detailed if you want help.

There’s so much vague stuff being posted these days. It seems like with Bitcoin’s price going up, everyone thinks they’ll find a way to get rich quick. The support isn’t really the issue, it’s just the weird topics people keep bringing up.
