Been trading GOOGL and gold lately and wow, they seem to be crushing my crypto positions. What do you all think? Is crypto gonna pick up in Q1 or is it more of a Q2 thing?

For real though, Google and gold have been around forever. Look at their histories and compare that to Bitcoin. Can you really say they match Bitcoin's growth over a decade?

I gotta agree. Big tech and gold have been on a solid upward trend, way smoother than crypto in the last few months. Short-term gains can be misleading.

Exactly. As a trader, you should definitely keep an eye on the stock markets too. They're kind of linked to crypto right now, and you can spot some patterns that help with your trading.

GOOGL is on fire with their Gemini AI stuff. Stocks have shifted from bearish to super bullish in no time. Crypto’s lagging since there’s not much exciting happening right now. Regulations could help, but still.

A lot of countries are stocking up on gold. They see the dollar as a threat, so gold is their hedge. Google’s rise? It’s all about the AI features they're rolling out.

This is just how the market works. Every asset has its own cycles. You can't expect Bitcoin to always be the top performer.

True. I doubt crypto will beat Google or gold anytime soon. Gold is a solid value asset and Google is just too established. Plus, with AI, their stock is bound to rise.

Yeah, a lot has to change before crypto really competes with those. Right now, gold is the go-to for safety. Bitcoin could overtake Google stocks eventually, though.

Which platform are you trading on? Those fees look super low.

For GOOGL and gold futures, I’m using Perpmate. For spot gold, I swap it on Uniswap via XAUT. Still looking for a good DEX for trading Google and Amazon stocks.

Instead of digging into the past, let's focus on which assets actually yield better returns moving forward. Investors care about future gains, not history.

The timeframe to judge this is too short. Diversify, that’s the key.

Check out Bybit and Bitget for trading stocks. They’ve got an extensive range for stocks and commodities. Let me know if you give it a shot.

Some exchanges like Kraken, Bybit, and Bitget do stocks too but remember they’re tokenized, not real shares. Liquidity can really suck on those.

Yeah, totally. No dividends on tokenized stocks. Plus, liquidity can make trading messy. I’d stick to Kraken for tokenized stocks though, they’re leading in volume.

Right, they’re not real shares so no dividends. Liquidity issues are a real risk too. If you’re keen on digital stocks, Kraken is a decent option.

Tried Kraken but I hate their KYC. I prefer using XAUT on Uniswap and trading with Perpmate. No KYC hassle there. I love the idea of trading stocks like Google via DEX.

What's your interest in stocks anyway? Xstocks sounds interesting, but if they’re still controlled by a central issuer, the risks stay the same.

Why are you curious about it? If Xstocks is centralized, it’s not that promising in the long run.
