Bitcoin Treasury companies are firms that hold Bitcoin instead of cash reserves like traditional companies. They buy Bitcoin at prices they think will increase in the future. So, do you think these companies manipulate the price just to buy at a better rate?
You can find many of these company addresses listed here: Strategy, MetaPlanet, BitMine, etc. I doubt they can manipulate the market without being noticed. They're in it for the long haul anyway.
What do you mean by manipulation? Most companies make their wallet addresses public for transparency. Their Bitcoin movements are tracked, so it's hard to hide anything. Most of the time they just buy more. Arkham is a good place to check Bitcoin reserves.
They're just big players with bigger investments and longer time frames. I don't see them as manipulators but rather as part of the smart money moving in.
Yeah, they're in it for the long run, so they’re not too worried about short-term price swings. Plus, they file with the SEC, so it’s all transparent. If they got caught manipulating, it’d be bad for them.
No one can control Bitcoin’s price, not even big orgs. Its decentralized nature means it can’t be easily manipulated. If they could manipulate it, that would mean Bitcoin isn’t decentralized after all.
You can find other sites that track Bitcoin Treasuries for companies and countries. They can help you get a basic understanding before you get into on-chain analysis.
Lol price manipulation? Not really. Bitcoin itself is decentralized, but its price can be influenced. We saw a lot of that last year, especially in December when big players moved the market.
That’s just a guess. We can’t really tell if their selling caused a market dump or if it’s the other way around. It’s tricky to figure out the real cause.
Bitcoin is decentralized, but that doesn’t mean everything connected to it is. I agree the network is decentralized, but the price is influenced by factors like liquidity and market sentiment.
Exactly. Companies treat Bitcoin as a treasury asset instead of other assets. It inspires me to buy more Bitcoin, if they can invest billions, I can get in with a few bucks.
These companies have trackable wallets. If they sell a large amount, it’s visible. Plus, the amount of money needed to influence the market is huge. It’s not worth it for them.
These treasury companies aren’t the only ones holding BTC. I think ETF companies like Blackrock are the real market manipulators since they buy and sell Bitcoin constantly.
