Advice needed on low-fee BTC payment system for digital sales

Hey everyone, first time posting here. I’m starting a pay-per-download site for selling digital files. I need to keep my cut at 5% and want to automatically send 95% to the seller. My main concern is handling BTC fees.

Yeah, but there are similar sites like SatoshiDisk already up and running. They handle batching for deposits too.

Fees are only charged by the sender. If you're just receiving, you're good to go. Just deal with public keys so your private keys stay safe.

Right, but the OP still needs to create a transaction to send BTC to sellers. How’s that automatic forwarding gonna work?

Why not just authorizing a single transaction? You could allow users to download content after just one confirmation. Or have them get the decryption key once it’s confirmed. Just encrypt with your public key.

Solid point, but I’ve never sent BTC to multiple addresses at once. Plus, user experience is key and handling over/under payments is tricky.

You could prep unsigned transactions for the users. Just let them pick UTXOs, copy the unsigned transaction, and broadcast it. No risk of overpaying if they can check before sending.

Thanks for the input, everyone. I’m more of a designer, not a dev. Thinking about finding a freelancer, but I really want a simple payment processor too. Less tech hassle, but they take a cut like 1%.

Theory's cool, but not many wallets support partially signed transactions or sending to multiple addresses. PayJoin is kind of similar, but it hasn’t taken off.
