Bitcoin tanked to $79k due to panic selling. Charts show a head-and-shoulders pattern forming. If it closes under that neckline this weekend, we could see it drop to around $75k.
$24.8B Bitcoin Purchase: Who’s Behind It?

So, some big players are already making moves, huh? With Trump and Xi chatting recently, maybe they know something about the Strait of Hormuz. But ETF inflows are negative today... I'm not sure if that's bullish.
Who even is this person buying all that Bitcoin? A White House insider maybe? Prices are dropping again below $79k, so $75k is looking pretty likely. Retailers panicking usually makes the market worse.
Typical behavior, right? While some freak out and sell, others buy up that cheap Bitcoin. Buffet vibes... but honestly hoping he's an insider with intel on rate cuts or something. Just feels too good to be true.
Interesting info, but what’s the source for those OTC numbers? I doubt they report everything in real-time. Plus, I think some trades on centralized exchanges get confused with OTC stuff.
I don't care who the buyer is or their game plan. What matters now is how this impacts the market in the short term. If this dip continues, weak hands will definitely start selling, confirming a bigger dump.
I feel you, but I couldn’t find any solid proof to back that $24.8B claim. OTC trades usually fly under the radar, and that volume would be wild. If true, it would be all over the news, but barely anyone’s mentioned it.
Exactly! It’s all a bit sketchy. How do they even figure out which trades are actual purchases vs. wallet transfers? Seems like a lot of guesswork involved.
I just don’t get it. Since it’s OTC, how do we trust these numbers? I get some people claim it's real, but there’s always this doubt in my mind.

Even if true, there's no way one entity just drops $24.8B overnight. No one’s got that kind of cash just chilling. If a company did, we’d have heard about it by now. Not that big a deal, really.

If those buyers hold until the next halving… they could be sitting on a goldmine. Whoever it is, they definitely see Bitcoin hitting new highs down the line.
This feels like a strategic move to take market control before the masses catch on. Successful players in crypto always seem a step ahead of the news.
OTC buying doesn’t mess with the market directly, but $24.8B? That’s huge. You’d think there’d be some chatter or scrutiny if that were true.
I’m all for taking risks. Buying alongside smart money typically pays off. But you gotta watch the bigger picture; these folks aren’t day trading. They’re in for the long haul.
CryptoQuant has some insights on this. 😉
You nailed it. These trades are designed to be off-market. Ironically, their lack of price impact makes them even more intriguing. The buyer must be in a rush if they’re diving in like this.

If they threw billions at Bitcoin, they’d already be billionaires, right? I doubt these wealthy folks need to invest to get richer. They're super analytical and plugged into info we can’t access.
