So, if I sell BTC for CAD and deposit it, I'm in the government's sights? What if I cash out in a way that doesn’t link to my SIN? This is gonna be a headache.

I think it’s on the taxpayer to prove everything about their BTC holdings. If they can’t prove I own any, how can they tax me?
