So it looks like US and Iran might announce a peace deal super soon. Saw it on my feed and it’s all over the news. Trump claims they’ve nailed down an agreement with some Middle Eastern countries. Could this kick off a Bitcoin bull run? A thought since Iran's been talking about using Bitcoin for insurance fees and stuff.
Will a US-Iran Peace Deal Spark a New Bitcoin Rally?

Doubt it, really. People are still expecting tensions to rise later. Typical Trump behavior, to be honest. Even if we see a tiny bullish phase, it'll probably be short-lived.

When the war kicked off, Bitcoin dipped a bit but recovered pretty quickly. It’s been shown that Bitcoin can hold its own as a value store during conflicts. If the war ends, oil prices might drop, but I don’t think that’ll control Bitcoin's price much. It’ll move through the cycles regardless.
Honestly, war hasn’t done much to impact Bitcoin. When it all started, there were fears Bitcoin would crash below $50k, but nope. It even surged above previous levels. So I believe peace talks won’t shift Bitcoin price either it’s more about the politics than Bitcoin itself.
Any positive news on the geopolitical front usually sends asset prices up, and Bitcoin is no exception... But can we really trust anything Trump says? Dude forgets what he said yesterday.
I wouldn’t hold my breath on this deal. Lots of past announcements have been empty. Even if there's a 60-day ceasefire, it doesn’t mean the war actually ends. Trump’s just throwing words around he’s done that before.

True, but any good news boosts demand, right? Even with the war happening, Bitcoin’s price didn’t really tank; in fact, it saw some gains. So, I’m not expecting much from this ceasefire either. If oil prices drop, maybe Bitcoin will hold its ground better.
From what I’ve seen, Bitcoin reacts to government announcements. If this peace deal happens, it could raise demand for Bitcoin, especially since Iran is pushing it as legal tender for shipping fees. That could help Bitcoin.
Not sure about that. I mean, a peace deal sounds good in theory, but I doubt it'll spark a new bull run. People think retail money will flood back into crypto, but I see institutions more interested in other markets right now.
Interesting point. Bitcoin’s reaction during the war surprised me. Typically, we’d see it dump, but it didn’t this time, maybe because it was already oversold. A peace deal could bring investors back, but ultimately, Bitcoin could still swing either way.

But isn’t it true that a quick uptick can lead to a drop later? I’m seeing Bitcoin in a long-term bearish trend right now. If I buy, it’s just for quick profits, not for holding long-term.
I get that. Good news often just gives short-term pumps, but the bear trend keeps dragging it back. We gotta be careful not to let temporary events mislead us.

Looking at last year, Bitcoin didn’t always respond predictably to good news. Sure, there might be a positive reaction initially, but I’m skeptical about any long-lasting effects, especially with Bitcoin down while the Nasdaq is up.
I think about the phrase ‘buy the rumor, sell the news.’ There could be a sell-off after the deal’s announced. Plus, there’s more than just Iran and the US Israel's got its own agenda too.
Bitcoin dropped before the war even started. Geopolitical issues do matter, but the market has its own cycles. If the war ends, yes, the market might react positively, but I don’t see it pushing Bitcoin to new highs.
Yeah, peace is uncertain and has its own risks. Even if an agreement happens, other conflicts could pop up quickly. For Bitcoin, I think any major toll fees in crypto will likely be off the table.

Chaos often leads to more chaos, right? Even if a deal is reached, both sides could easily backtrack. Bitcoin’s price is influenced by many other factors beyond geopolitics.
Totally! Markets are wild and don't stick to patterns. Sometimes, when you'd expect one thing, the opposite happens, so who knows what will really happen?
If this deal includes Bitcoin and crypto, it might strengthen the market, but I don’t think it’s going to be a big deal for Bitcoin. It could impact forex and the dollar more.
Exactly, until there’s a signed deal, it’s all just talk. Even then, surprises could arise. A real peace deal could ease market fears and slightly boost Bitcoin demand. However, I still think we’re stuck in a crypto winter for a while.
