Inventions come from all sorts of people, but let’s be real, most scammers are too clueless to create something useful. They just exploit systems for a quick buck.
I’m all for separating inventors from their inventions. But let’s face it, if BTC was from someone super controversial, that’d definitely hurt its adoption. People would link it to the creator.
True, we don't know Satoshi personally so judging the tech on him makes zero sense. We trust the technology, not the person behind it. It's open source for that reason, and it’s been solid so far.
Sure, the creator doesn't shape Bitcoin's future, but the mining pools do. With just a handful controlling most of the hashrate, they hold a lot of power over this decentralized system.
All I care about is the adoption of a decentralized system that allows us to manage our finances free from centralized control. The creator's identity is irrelevant.

Guys, please don’t suggest Epstein invented Bitcoin. I agree, if someone makes a good invention, their past shouldn’t matter like a knife that can be used for good or bad. But Bitcoin has a bad rep already.
Honestly, any bad PR still counts as PR. Bitcoin's niche is solid, and no crypto can touch it. Demand is up, and holders have a habit of sticking with BTC. I’m not worried it'll get rejected.
This is all about morality vs value. I’d be fine if Epstein was behind BTC. In Asia, we’ve got this ‘cancel culture,’ so if proven true, folks might not wanna use it.

Criminals are prosecuted for their crimes, not their achievements. If the creator of Bitcoin turns out to be a monster, he deserves to face justice, but that doesn't change Bitcoin's value.
