I get that privacy is key, but why isn't Monero a top player?
What Keeps Monero from Being More Popular?

Bitcoin rules the scene, right? Monero’s ranked 28th by market cap, over $2.6 billion. So it’s decent. But honestly, a lot of crypto folks just care about profits, not privacy.

True, but centralized exchanges have delisted Monero. Governments aren't fans of privacy coins. They feel threatened by it. And not everyone values privacy.
Regulatory issues are a big deal. Privacy coins like Monero? Harder to track for regulators. Plus, many prefer coins that support smart contracts. Privacy lovers will stick with Monero, though, for sure.
When Monero launched in 2014, it seemed like the king of privacy. Now? So many new coins out there offering better privacy features. Monero feels kinda outdated, like Dash.

Yeah, most users prioritize profit. Look at XRP, tons of investment in it despite being a total joke. Monero has its fans, sure, but right now it’s not looking good.

It's anti-government, that's why. Monero offers full privacy, which the government hates. Businesses need to play nice, and exchanges have dropped it. Bitcoin is semi-anonymous, so it flies under the radar.
Monero’s popular in the dark web, that’s a huge issue. Law enforcement makes trading harder, so many investors steer clear. I get it, but I'm not looking for trouble.
Absolutely, privacy is key. But regulators are cracking down. Many exchanges have delisted it because of pressure. How do you invest in something the government is trying to shut down?
Monero's fighting an uphill battle. Governments hate it because of its privacy. Sure, some of that privacy is misused, but I believe Monero will get its moment when privacy becomes essential again.
How do they handle being fully transparent? Seems odd they don’t worry about using BTC.

It’s definitely a major coin, just not at the level of Bitcoin. Being in the top 100 is solid. Monero’s got a big market cap, but exchanges don’t want to deal with it.
Monero’s still on plenty of exchanges. Binance, Kucoin, Kraken, and more. Sure, Coinbase doesn’t list it, but that’s on them. Decentralized exchanges still support it.
Bitcoin is king, but Monero was great for daily trading. Now? It’s not in the best shape. It had its time, but things are rough for Monero right now.
People are all about profits. Privacy matters to some, but not most.
Monero’s all about privacy and anonymity. That’s great for users who want it, but it also raises red flags for exchanges worried about illegal use.
You nailed it. Governments paint privacy coins as criminal tools. They want to keep control, and Monero’s hard to track, hence the delistings.
These days, most folks don’t give a hoot about privacy. Centralized exchanges need ID verification, which makes Monero less useful. Utility is what people want.
Is Monero really gonna outperform Bitcoin? Sure, it’s on exchanges, but with delistings happening, it’s facing serious challenges.
Not sure why people forget about privacy. Monero used to be hot, especially after Bitcoin and Ethereum, but now it’s fallen off.
