Upgrading My Hydro Water Pump

Hey, I’ve got four pro hydros that I've been using for about a year and a half. They’re mining fine, but my water pump just broke. I'm thinking about getting a much bigger one. Currently, my old one pumps 60L/min. Is it okay if I go for a 120L/min pump? How much water does each machine actually need per minute?

From what I've read, Bitmain suggests at least 9L/min per machine. If you overclock, you might need more. But be careful not to push it too high because it can stress the seals in the cooling system. If 60L/min is keeping them cool, maybe stick with that. -Dave

What’s the typical temperature of the liquid coming out from those miners?

The discharge temperature can vary a lot. It depends on a bunch of factors like inlet temp, flow rate, overclocking, and cooling capacity. Bitmain says 8L/min is sufficient, but honestly, I think that’s on the low side. Personally, I’m aiming for about 10-12L/min for future-proofing. And ideally, you don’t want your max discharge to go over 65-70°C to keep the chip temps in check. I’d prefer to stay below 50-55°C. Adjusting the temp properly can help keep the miner chip temps under control. I’m working on my hydro setup right now.
