Been grinding on this for over a year. Participated in testnets, used Monad apps, did a bunch of transactions. I’ve also been active in the community on X and Discord, helping out where I can. Got a Monad Card as a thank you, which might help with the $MON airdrop eligibility. Seems like major exchanges are eyeing $MON, so this could be a huge airdrop.
Thoughts on the Upcoming Monad ($MON) Airdrop

Honestly, I see two scenarios. Either the initial pump happens and then people dump hard. Those who buy in late might take a hit. Or it lists and just starts to drop. Been there, seen it, can’t trust these coins.

It’s almost predictable. Most of these tokens start strong but then crash hard. Still, maybe the folks who really engage with the airdrop will score some profits. Let’s just hope it’s not another hype token that turns into a scam.

Yeah man, Monad is super hyped. Right up there with Bless Network and Gradient. Lots of folks have been on the testnet grind, and despite a quiet phase, they seem serious. If Binance lists it right off the bat, we could see some wild pumps, but you know how it goes hype followed by dumping.
Been waiting months to see what happens with the mainnet. The testnet’s been buzzing with apps and tools. Hoping it grows organically, kinda like SOL. Not sure if the airdrop’s started, though saw some confusion about eligibility. Anyone got a clearer update?
The airdrop checker’s up and running, and it’s getting some good vibes. I even deposited mine in Bitget, might get extra rewards. If Binance hops on board, we’re in for a ride.
I had high hopes for Monad at first, but the community got let down by the devs. Now I’m just waiting for trading to go live. It’s only the die-hard followers who are stoked about this.
If I were to launch an Altcoin, what should I consider on the tech, finance, and legal fronts?
From what I’m seeing, I bet there’ll be a dump on day one. People wanna lock in profits, and they’re distributing chunks to DeFi users. If it pumps, great for them. But remember 2Z huge VC allocation and the community got nothing. Just a continuous dump.
I got involved, but turns out I wasn’t eligible. Figured I met the criteria, but nope. If it hits Binance, I expect good things, though. Let’s see how this unfolds.
There’s a ton of chatter about Monad now. This hype could actually drive it up initially, but we all know how that ends. Many projects do well at first, but then just crash. People aren’t even willing to hold these tokens long-term anymore.
Tried to participate in Monad, but I half-assed the tasks. Glad I didn’t waste too much time. It’s clear that most of the airdrop allocations aren’t meant for the community just big investors and CT. Major letdown.
When Monad was still buzzing, I looked into how to get in, but the expense turned me off. Airdrops usually start strong, then tank. Seems like a pattern with previous projects too.

It’s weird they chose to reward some DeFi users over community members. I guess they based it on metrics, but it’s still dumb. The community helped them gain traction without that, would they be this popular?

I missed out on all those airdrop projects last year but saw many friends dive deep into them. They completed tasks daily, but in the end? Just dust. Same for those who bought tokens early. All those projects dropped hard after listing.
Didn’t jump on the Monad airdrop. Back in the day, I chased airdrops for profit, but ended up with nothing. Lower your expectations with these things if you don’t get rewarded, it doesn’t sting as much.
They’ve raised loads of cash, so a lot of optimism around the airdrop. Everyone’s hoping for big rewards. I’m not too fussed since I didn’t participate. But if Binance comes through, who knows? I’ve got some points saved up just in case.
Good on you for not wasting your time. I tried for a bit, then quit. Monad really got hunters to grind for them, but not much in return. Everyone was expecting something good from them, but disappointment all around.
Yeah, I didn’t do much to earn eligibility. My testnet experiences have been underwhelming. Friends who stuck with Monad are looking good, though. They raised a ton, so it could pop for a bit, but I doubt it’ll outshine existing chains like Solana.

Glad you’re out of that mess. Those airdrop and bounty hunters promise a lot but deliver nothing. Focus on DCA instead and set realistic expectations; chasing quick gains often leads to disappointment.
