So the FCA just dropped its business plan, right? And they’re saying anyone dealing with unregulated crypto better be ready to lose it all. What’s everyone’s take on that? Is this a positive move or just more noise?
Thoughts on FCA's Latest Crypto Regulations

Honestly, anyone investing in anything should brace for losing cash. Just look at Rolls Royce value tanked from £12 to £1.4 in 2.5 years. And did the FCA warn about that? Doubt it. Plus, with all that institutional money floating around in the UK, small investors are kinda screwed.
Yeah, I get the risk warnings, but that applies to all investments, not just crypto. The FCA’s gotta do their job and inform folks, but it feels like they’re singling out crypto. What about all those shaky stocks? Shouldn’t they be addressing those scams too?

I checked the FCA's statement. They’re echoing what’s been said globally. But they miss the point crypto is decentralized, can’t really regulate the coins themselves. It’s the exchanges that need oversight. Still, I see the value in cracking down on the scammers operating in the UK.
What’s the big deal? FCA’s been warning about crypto forever, yet interest in Bitcoin keeps rising. The price isn’t going to zero anymore. Even if they regulate it, no one guarantees your funds. You’re still at risk of losing money. So what’s changed?
