remember when PokemonGO was everywhere? now it feels like every game is just a utility with NFTs... Yuliverse caught my eye though. it lets you get into an alternate reality with some wild stories. seems like a fresh take on the tap-to-earn trend in gaming.

yeah but creating a decent game takes serious cash. most of these projects are broke, so they churn out low-quality stuff. if they keep recycling old ideas, GameFi won't go anywhere. they really should just team up with established devs, indie or big names.

true, it’s sad. there are legit game makers out there but funding is a joke. DeVCoin was supposed to help, but what’s it done? not much. without the cash, good ideas get sidelined for boring crypto trading, which isn’t helping anyone.

right? I never even considered that angle. hope investors start paying more attention to gaming as a whole.

exactly! underfunded games just can't cut it. low-quality stuff won't keep players interested. Yuliverse is backed by some heavy hitters though. big names like Animoca Ventures and Cyberport are all in. they even hosted events for it!

the projects that stick to basic mechanics will phase out. hybrid models are the future: AR, social finance, and real economic ties.

i hear you, but I’m not diving in just yet. metaverse and NFTs sound awesome, but if a project only sells hype without substance, it’s doomed. gameplay should come first, rewards second.

GameFi lost its edge because too many focused on making money instead of fun experiences. metaverse games should bring back that immersive feel, but sustainable reward models are tricky.
