Saw some news a few hours ago. I think it’s worth discussing here since my own take might be off. Personally, I can’t see Bitcoin's value being driven by rising oil prices. Just my two cents.

That’s true. No direct link, but if oil prices soar, everything gets more expensive. Less cash for investments could hurt Bitcoin. But hey, could also become a safe haven, right? It’s already outperformed gold during the Iran conflict.

Yeah, inflation from rising oil prices will definitely push up costs of goods and services. So fiat might lose value, which should ideally help Bitcoin and gold. Still, not sure if gold is overbought right now while Bitcoin seems stable.

Anyone can guess Bitcoin’s price based on oil prices. We're just speculating here. War, oil prices, it's all uncertain. Most miners are going green anyway, so they won’t be heavily impacted if they rely on solar energy.

Exactly! I just hate vague articles claiming Bitcoin will hit $51k if oil hits $180. They don’t explain why! Sure, inflation will rise, but Bitcoin's path could go either way.

I doubt Bitcoin will reach a new all-time low if oil hits $180. Big investors have probably already moved their cash away from high-risk assets. Retail investors aren't as savvy, but they have enough capital to hold their Bitcoin.

The media loves throwing around these predictions. If oil hits $180, it’s not just that. Bitcoin's trend might go down regardless of oil. Traders might hesitate due to the uncertain global economy.

Totally agree with you. Oil and Bitcoin don’t correlate directly. Different markets, different players. If oil spikes, Bitcoin might just keep on its path, unaffected.

If oil prices rise to $180, I’m dumping all my energy stocks. But I doubt it’ll happen... I think we’re past the worst part of this crisis. We just need to avoid a repeat of 2008.

Bitcoin isn’t really swayed by oil prices. The Middle East chaos hasn’t significantly impacted Bitcoin like it has with oil. Just seems like we’ll keep following the usual market trends.

For sure. Global events matter, but they’re not the only factors. Policy changes, ETF approvals, all that stuff matters too. Traders are used to uncertainty, so I doubt they’ll just stop trading.

If oil hits $180, there could be major supply cuts. That could lead to Bitcoin being a go-to currency for trades as demand increases.

$180 oil could make high-cost projects viable again, like tar sands. But it could also devastate nations that can’t afford basic needs. Talk about a double-edged sword.

Don’t forget if inflation skyrockets, central banks might raise interest rates. Less liquidity in the market isn't good for Bitcoin or any risk assets.

Agreed, rising oil prices might not hurt Bitcoin directly, but it can lead to broader economic issues, possibly even a recession. Cash flow and investor sentiment are key.

Nah, I think Bitcoin will stay unaffected. Gold’s been the only asset dropping lately. Bitcoin is undervalued and pretty chill about this war escalation.

Gold's definitely corrected recently. It’s interesting how Bitcoin has been holding its ground against gold. If Bitcoin continues this trend, we might need to rethink how we view these assets.

True, if oil prices lead to high mining costs, Bitcoin's market could feel the heat. Finding that balance is key, especially with oil prices affecting so many products.

I think Bitcoin might just hover around if oil spikes. People often hedge into crypto during times like this, so immediate impact might be minimal.

Could be. US negotiations with Iran are shaky. If they say oil could hit $200, energy stocks might soar. But who knows what’ll happen next?
