We always talk about how some folks get greedy during a rally, holding on for higher prices. But what about the ones sitting in stables, waiting for a dip? They often refuse to buy at their planned prices, hoping for even lower.

Focusing on your own strategy is key. Everyone's got their own take on trading. If you sell, you’ll get flak for not holding, and if you hold, they’ll say you’re missing out. The point is, crypto is still a way better investment than just sitting in stables.

I’m guilty of greed too. I’ve got some ETH and a little BTC. When Bitcoin hit its peak, I had targets but didn’t sell. Now I regret it. Holding fiat makes me wait for dips that never come.

I get what you're saying, but sentiment trackers know their stuff. They reflect market realities better than just opinions. If someone planned to buy but hesitates, that's usually about fear or disinterest, not greed.

Totally agree, but fear is real. Like, if BTC hits an all-time high, people say they’ll buy if it drops back down. When it does, they freeze up. That fear keeps a lot from stepping in.

Exactly! They wait for the dip that never seems to happen. By the time they realize it, they’ve missed buying opportunities. It’s like they’re stuck in a loop of hope.

Every trader plays their own game. If someone doesn’t want to buy BTC, that’s their choice. Chill and let the market do its thing. Eventually, they’ll jump in, and prices will bounce back. But timing the bull run? Who knows.

But we really should call it how it is. Those in fiat who watch the market drop feel the same rush as those holding during a rally. They’re just thinking about how much more they could buy instead of how much they could sell for.

Yeah, greed gets people wrecked. They hold onto profits instead of selling and waiting for the right moment. If we sell during rises and reinvest when it drops, we can keep making money.

There's wisdom in buying when others are scared and selling when they’re euphoric. It's the savvy traders who profit while the rest dream of higher prices. Greed often leads to losses.

It’s human nature to feel both fear and greed when money's involved. Many of us miss out on good trades because we’re too scared to act.

True, but I think it’s more about fear of losing capital. Newbies especially fear buying in a bear market. They need to learn how the market cycles work.

Sounds like procrastination to me. If someone’s just holding out for the perfect moment, they miss out. It’s like they keep pushing their target lower and then end up with nothing.

A lot of people think they’re being clever by waiting for lower prices. But the market can turn at any moment, and they could miss out on good deals.

Call it what you want: fear, greed, procrastination. The market's driven by emotions. Everyone should stick to their plans without getting caught up in others’ opinions.

Greed indeed leads to missed opportunities. Holding on too long can turn profits into losses. If you wait for a drop after a rise, you might find yourself waiting too long.

So if someone doesn't sell after a big spike, they don’t feel fear about losing their BTC? Fear and greed are like two sides of the same coin, they’re always connected.

That’s a good point. This kind of greed is about missed chances, not about losing money. If prices drop, great, if not, we move forward. Everyone has their strategy.

Keeping stablecoins isn’t necessarily greed. People are allowed to have their own strategies. HODLing is often a long-term game, not just about quick profits.

The key is to know when to act. If you’re planning to buy or sell, do it at a price you’re comfortable with. Most people never hit the perfect peak or the lowest dip.
