Just starting this thread to point out the big risks now that Bitcoin's gone mainstream. Decisions we make today are key. Saw some debates on a related topic here, but didn't wanna jump into a massive thread unless necessary.
The Future of Bitcoin Rests on Us

You're onto something there. It feels like the government has a game plan. It's tough for everyday folks to stack Bitcoin when they can barely manage daily expenses. How can we expect them to gather enough BTC?
Exactly, the only way to keep your Bitcoin safe is through a non-custodial wallet. You hold the private keys and have control over your coins. Just be cautious with your wallet, from installation to backup.
Wondering how much of Bitcoin is influenced by politics. Looks like every statement from guys like Trump impacts the market. They seem to manipulate it with ease.

I feel you. Now isn't the time to doubt Bitcoin's value. Even small accumulations are smart. We've witnessed its growth through the years. Just gotta keep stacking.
Absolutely, our choices today shape Bitcoin's future. It's all about community. Bitcoin wasn’t meant for the governments; it’s for individuals who want financial freedom.
Totally agree! Those decisions about how we handle Bitcoin now will influence its legacy. If we stick to self-custody, it can stay resilient despite all the mainstream attention.

We’ve had Bitcoin for 16 years. It’s not a short period to ignore! We really need to capitalize on this opportunity before it's too late.
Flexibility in our approach is key. If we're too rigid, Bitcoin might grow beyond us and we'll struggle to adjust to it. We gotta be proactive!
Adoption is key, but we should avoid letting Bitcoin become a playground for big institutions. They’ll join the game anyway, but we gotta protect what Bitcoin stands for.
Seems Trump’s more into meme tokens than Bitcoin anyway. Bitcoin has shown resilience over the years, surviving through various administrations.
Politics will always affect Bitcoin, sometimes positively, sometimes not. We should keep promoting it and making sure people see how it benefits them.
Some get too caught up in Bitcoin's price rise and fail to see the bigger picture. As it gains acceptance, we might lose what Satoshi intended.
As long as banks control funding, they'll dictate crypto’s fate. It’s hard to picture a world where people aren't punished for using Bitcoin.
Libertarians jumped on Bitcoin early because they saw its potential. Now that institutions are involved, I wonder if we've watered down some core ideas.

True, anyone can catch the Bitcoin wave today. If you're in it for profits, great. But those after privacy might find it a bit more challenging now.
No way to fully control Bitcoin, even if they possess a chunk of it. Holding Bitcoin is key to preserving its legacy of freedom.

Governments buying Bitcoin isn't going anywhere. They’ve got the capital, so it’s gonna be a challenge for us retail investors.
The power seems to rest with Bitcoin holders. Those relying on state support are becoming the minority. We must save as much BTC as we can for future generations.

100% agree with you. The freedom to manage money without banks is what it's all about. That was Satoshi's vision with Bitcoin.
