I’m really excited about this! Can’t wait for crypto payments to become standard everywhere. Imagine a world where businesses have no reason to avoid accepting crypto.

For sure, but I wonder how much of that reported transaction volume is actual Bitcoin being used, not just businesses saying they accept it for publicity.

That sounds nice, but let's be real. Cash will still be around and banks won’t just disappear. They’ll probably just pivot to CBDCs if they feel threatened.

Yeah, not everyone is tech-savvy enough for crypto. Some people can barely handle mobile phones. So banks will still play a role for those folks.

I think that’s a long shot. Banks won’t just vanish because crypto takes off. Governments won’t let that happen. Too much control at stake, right?

You can’t ignore that fiat will stick around. Bitcoin might gain traction, but both can coexist. It’s all about what people choose to use.

Crypto is cool as an alternative but I doubt it’ll fully replace traditional finance.

If crypto starts eating into bank business, you can bet governments will step in. They won’t let banks die. Plus, banks want to offer crypto services too, right?

Not everyone will just switch to crypto. It’s like saying if everyone stopped using physical weapons, they’d just disappear. Banks aren’t going anywhere.

Exactly. Not everyone will adopt crypto. We’ve seen cashless policies already, but that doesn’t mean banks aren’t still needed.

Yeah, it seems like banks will always be a fallback option, especially for large transactions.

But the reality is, we’re seeing centralized crypto services pop up too. They’ll likely be tied to government regulations.

Governments love their centralized systems. They’ll always want to keep banks in play for control over the economy.

Merchants say they accept crypto, but how many actually see real transactions happening? Seems like hype to me.

Regulating crypto is a way for banks to profit from it. They want their slice of the pie just like with gold.

I don’t see many shops accepting Bitcoin at checkout nowadays. Feels like a drop-off since before 2020.

If you think Bitcoin will completely replace banks, I think we’re on different pages. Banks handle a lot of legal transactions.

Education is key. For widespread crypto use, people need to know how to manage it properly. Otherwise, it’s gonna be a mess.

I agree, there’s no way banks will ever be entirely obsolete. Crypto can give us freedom, but banks still have their place.

Seems like a battle brewing between governments and crypto. They won’t let banks fade away without a fight.
