S19j Pro 104T How Reliable Are They?

Anyone have thoughts on how reliable these machines really are? I'm thinking about grabbing one from kaboomracks, but I’ve heard some crazy stories about the S17s. Are these S19s much of an upgrade?

Honestly, buying just one unit feels super risky. If the power supply goes, you could be stuck waiting a month for a fix. And just think about it losing around 1k in earnings, plus $250 for power, you’re really in the negative. Buying three with extra parts makes more sense, but that’s a huge upfront cost.

Hey, that’s good info. I’ve seen the S17 issues too, mainly those heat-sink problems leading to chip failures. The S19’s got a solid heat-sink design now, so hopefully that’ll stop the burning. Plus, I heard they improved quality control too. Buying a few with backups is sound advice, especially if you have repair shops around.

I’ve got 20 of the S19J 100/104s. They can be a bit temperamental had a couple of reboots but only one PSU failed on me. Knock on wood, that’s not too bad. Others have had worse luck, so I count myself fortunate.

What caused your PSU to blow? Just got an S19J Pro and it’s totally dead. I bought it off Amazon, and the seller’s been helping me troubleshoot, but how does a new unit not even turn on?

Dumb question, but you plugged it into a 220V outlet, right? These won’t run on 110V power.

As a newbie myself, I’ve had my S19J Pro (104TH) running for 2 months with a pro hosting team, and now it’s crapping out on me. Looks like a hash board's gone bad, and it’s going into warranty. Not thrilled about waiting two weeks for repair.

So I’m kinda a newbie too, just want to share my experience. I got a S19J Pro 100TH in 2021, ran for like 1.5 hours before dropping a hash board. Sent it to Delaware for repairs, but they messed it up in shipping. They claimed to send me a new one, but it felt like the same broken unit.
