Whoa, this is wild! I didn’t expect to see something like this. It’s like the first of its kind in crypto. Imagine being able to code your own Bitcoin wallet and load it onto a hardware wallet designed for that purpose. I’ve seen some people with mad coding skills, so yeah, I’m super surprised a wallet like this, ForgeBox, is actually out there.

Interesting concept, but who’s to say this wallet is totally secure? I mean, they can claim anything, right? honestly, we’re responsible for our own security... Gonna get into the specs later, but thanks for the heads up, OP.

I noticed Keystone launched this device recently, but honestly, what’s the point? It looks almost just like their standard model, and they’ve got partnerships for custom devices already. I really doubt serious users are gonna want to build their own code from scratch when there are better options like Seedsigner or Krux out there.

Sounds like only those super paranoid about security would actually use this. And it helps if they’re coders too.

Maybe… but honestly, I can’t see many folks hiring devs to create wallets for them. Seems a bit far-fetched, imo. Just another choice for those who want it, I guess.

It's not a totally new idea; there are already DIY wallets like Krux and SeedSigner. The cool thing about ForgeBox is it has 3 SE chips and anti-tampering features. Plus, it only runs your signed firmware, which is great for devs. But let’s be real, building code from scratch? That’s not happening for 99.99% of users, so I doubt this will sell much.
