Nigerian officials keep pointing fingers at exchanges for naira problems. Binance stopped trading naira pairs for this reason, and other platforms are following suit. But is it really the p2p traders causing all this, or is the government just dodging responsibility?

Lol, seriously! Can't believe how clueless they are. If inflation is a mess and currency is in freefall, that's on the government, not exchanges. Blaming others for their mistakes is just pathetic.

True! Over-reliance on imports is killing the naira. People trust the dollar more than their own currency now. The government needs to fix the underlying issues instead of blaming crypto. They act like they’re just clueless graduates.

As a Nigerian, it’s painful to see this nonsense. Our government is lost, and it shows. They’re trying to fix an already broken system by pointing fingers at exchanges. Just sad.

Right? I can’t stop laughing at their ridiculousness. They make it seem like they have a plan but clearly don’t know what they’re doing. This current administration is a mess.

Nigerians are just facepalming at this point. The government seems totally out of touch. They keep making policies that only benefit them while the economy suffers. It’s like they don’t even understand basic economics.

When corrupt leaders are in charge, the country suffers. It’s easier for them to put on a show instead of addressing real issues. If they fixed local refineries and security, we wouldn’t have to import everything.

Lol, so true. Their poor economic policies are ruining everything, and now they’re just looking for scapegoats. Freezing accounts of crypto users won’t solve anything.

I doubt this is about crime. They’re just trying to divert attention from their own failures. The amount of crypto activity in Nigeria is tiny compared to the real problems.

Totally agree. The government’s blaming exchanges for manipulating the market is just ridiculous. Their rates are often better than the official ones. They’re clearly just protecting their own interests.

I think they’re not dumb; they know exactly what they’re doing. They want to keep control over currency exchanges to maintain power. If everyone starts trading crypto, it’s game over for them.

This whole situation shows just how out of touch they are. How can they expect anything to change when they refuse to accept responsibility? It’s just blame-shifting.

@Majestic-milf, right? They’re scared of losing control over the financial system. The more people trade crypto, the less power they have. They don’t want the masses to have alternatives.

And now they’re trying to pin this on Binance and other exchanges. This feels like a desperate attempt to distract from their economic failures. Just like in other countries, they see fines as a cash grab.

Exactly! The US fines Binance and suddenly every government wants in on that action. Nigeria’s just trying to get a slice of the pie by imposing fines on exchanges too.

They’ve already frozen around $330K from KuCoin and ByBit accounts. This is all just a show to mask their incompetence. They’ll probably end up pushing these platforms out of the country.

Crazy! This is the first time I’ve heard of blaming crypto exchanges for a national currency crisis. It’s like they’ve lost all sense of logic.

This is just political circus at its finest. Either they’re really this clueless, or they’re just trying to cover up their own failures. Maybe they want money from these exchanges.

Mismanagement always leads to blame games. My government did the same with immigrants. It’s just a distraction from their failures.

Could be! They saw how the US hit Binance with fines and thought, ‘hey, we can do that too!’ Now they’re just fishing for cash, not solutions.
