Long-term Impact of Vibration on Electrical Cables

What happens to wires over time with vibrations? Like, how does it affect copper, aluminum, or steel? I'm running 8KW at 240V and worried it might melt. Just last week, I had a 1mm copper wire getting super hot while pulling 120A from my PSU.

Wait, you’re pushing 120A through a 1mm wire? How is that not fried yet? You’d normally need something thicker than 5mm for that kinda current. Just saying.

You might wanna get a pro to check that out. An electrician could make sure everything meets the Swedish electrical code. Better safe than sorry, right? Don’t want a fire hazard on your hands.

I’m pulling from the PSU, not directly from the wall sockets. The wall is doing about 30A on 2.5mm copper. It seems fine to me.

Oh, missed that detail in your post. But honestly, 30A is still pushing it for 2.5mm copper. You really should get that electrician in to sort it out.
