Pretty straightforward. Bitcoin has no real value.
Let's discuss why Bitcoin might be worthless

I get what you're saying. But it feels more like you're just trying to spark a convo with the anti-Bitcoin crowd. Still, I’ll stick to the topic. Market volatility is a big deal. Remember all those threads about it being a bug? Panic everywhere.
Playing devil's advocate here... Is Bitcoin really any different from fiat? I mean, both lack intrinsic value. Don't even start with the free market argument for Bitcoin, fiat has Forex too.
Exactly, both points are solid. Thanks for chiming in.

Look, since the code is open source, anyone can whip up a new Bitcoin easily. Plus, the distribution was never fair, giving early adopters a huge edge. And don’t get me started on Blockstream’s influence on Bitcoin Core. Seems like banks will own most of it one day.
Bitcoin is just a set of numbers. The whole 21 million cap is just a social construct. It has no real value, just what we decide to believe. Honestly, fiat is more tangible.
But wait, can we really have just 21 million of anything as a global currency? What happens when everyone wants to use it? Supply and demand will just go haywire.

Yeah, and there’s always the risk of Satoshi or devs deciding to inflate supply. Plus, what if a group of miners teams up for a 51% attack? Not exactly secure.
Thanks everyone for staying on point. All arguments have some weight.
Bitcoin is just a fancy way of saying ‘I have this number that cost me a lot of computing power’... It’s just a pile of numbers on a blockchain. The actual value? Laughable.
Exactly, it’s all speculation. How can something invisible hold value? It’s just what we collectively agree on.
Bitcoin seems outdated. It’s like trying to use a rotary phone when smartphones exist. It can’t adapt to modern needs.
For real, Bitcoin isn’t worthless but it’s a tool for anti-gov types to push back against control. But let’s not forget the creator just vanished. Who does that?
Bitcoin relies on block rewards that will eventually fade away. If miners can’t make money, how will they keep the network secure? It’s a ticking time bomb.

You guys are hitting all the right notes. Just look at what Buffett said about Bitcoin being worthless. Its value is entirely demand-driven. If demand drops, what’s left?

And let’s talk about the environmental impact of mining. Is it really worth it for just 21 million coins? What about competition?
It has trust, but it’s intangible. You can’t hold a Bitcoin. What does that even mean?

So volatile. One minute it’s stable, the next it’s crashing. No wonder Buffett calls it poison.
Totally agree. Bitcoin is worthless if it can’t make anyone rich quickly. Prices are dropping, and it’s not going to recover anytime soon. But somehow, I still prefer Bitcoin.
What about internet access? People in remote areas can’t even use Bitcoin when they need it the most. And losing your seed phrase? Good luck getting your coins back.
