Running Bitcoin Knots v29.1 on Parrot OS, I’m kinda new to Linux stuff. My blockchain download is stuck at 99.81% and says "4 mins remaining" for over an hour. Left it overnight and even turned off the firewall. No VPN was on during the download. Anyone know what’s up with this? Last time I had a similar issue, it wanted to redownload everything.

Did you check if your blocks and chainstate folders are intact? I had a similar stall before when a bad sector messed up my files. I had to delete that block file and run disk checks to fix it. Might be worth a shot if this keeps happening. Just a thought.

Where’d you post this before? Haven’t seen it here lately. Honestly, you could’ve saved yourself some hassle. No need for a new data directory when switching between Core and Knots. Sometimes, zero peers can freeze the sync, it’s happened to me too. Maybe refreshing the peers.dat could help. And checking the debug.log is a must for figuring out what’s really wrong.
