Gotta say, I'm pretty skeptical about so-called blockchain detectives on X. Wouldn't put all my trust in ZachXBT just because he’s got a following. Those donations he got? Yeah, that raises some eyebrows... 50k from CZ and 10k from Justin Sun, plus a couple of others like Jesse Powell. Feels a bit sketchy for me.
Is ZachXBT Really an Independent Investigator?

Yeah, he was good for a while but calling himself independent now just seems off. Selective investigations much? It's like he turns a blind eye when certain companies are involved. Maybe he’s scared of losing relevance or something, but it’s not a good look.
For real. Just follow the money. Zach called out NYSE and CME for their hypocrisy, yet he’s kinda guilty of the same thing. It’s all the same game. His research helped recover funds, but does that make him unbiased?
Exactly! Just like those YouTube influencers who start doing sponsored content. Once the cash comes in, the neutrality goes out the window. Zach used to do solid analyses but now it feels like he’s shifting gears.
Honestly, can we ever get a truly unbiased analysis? Everyone's got their opinions. And with all this attention he’s getting, it’s bound to get messy with his sponsors involved. If he ignores certain cases, that’s one thing, but if he contradicts his own findings, that’s a problem.
Totally agree. His analyses are still good, but being biased is a slippery slope. If he makes a mistake, that’s one thing, but if he just avoids certain topics, that’s another.
So if you throw money at him, you’re off the hook? That makes it hard to argue he’s impartial. If he’s been harsh on some exchanges but then plays nice with donors, that’s a real conflict.
Independent? Not anymore, man. It seems like once donations came in, he started doing selective investigations. He said he couldn't look into BNB chain because of resources, and suddenly he’s all about it after getting funds. Sketchy for sure.
Yeah, he was independent once, but now? Accepting all those donations kinda messes with his credibility. Some say he’s transparent about it, but how fair can his investigations be if a donor's involved?
Definitely feels like he’s ignoring potential conflicts. If donors never end up in hot water, that raises some flags. Makes you wonder if he really cares about exposing scams.
I’ve followed Zach for a while, and he’s solid with crypto fraud. But now he’s with Paradigm? That’s a big VC in crypto. What’s he up to? The last I saw, he was looking into a token called RAVE and calling out big exchanges. Seems like he’s picking and choosing his battles.
