Hey everyone I’ve been using my Avalon 1166 Pro for a while, but one of the hashboards is acting up. It shows an error code that I can't figure out. I took a look and noticed a capacitor, labeled C481, is missing near the A3201FPV3 ASIC chip. Checked my other two hashboards and they’re missing that capacitor too. Seems like it could be the reason for the malfunction, maybe a soldering issue. Anyone know what value that capacitor should be?

Not sure that missing capacitor is the main issue. If it’s a ceramic capacitor, I think the board can still run without it. You might wanna check the resistance in that area with a multimeter. Could be some shorts causing the errors. Also, which hashboard are we talking about? The first one or the middle one? The logs are kinda confusing since the first one shows a lot of errors, but the middle one has some weird values.

The middle one has serious issues. Some chips are showing abnormal temps and voltages, and it’s not hashing at all. If you have an Avalon tester, definitely use it for that middle board to pinpoint the exact problem. We need to get to the root cause here.
