So today’s April 5th, and supposedly it’s Satoshi Nakamoto’s birthday. Born and created Bitcoin, which is like the king of digital currencies. Don’t even know who this guy is, but happy birthday to him anyway. Just read on this forum that today’s the day.

Satoshi really kept his identity under wraps for so long. Do you think he’d just casually reveal his birthday? Could be a fake date. Some people believe that this date is just made up, like there’s a lot of theories floating around.

Yeah, honestly I think it’s more about the symbolism. It’s not about celebrating a real birthday, more like celebrating the impact he’s made with Bitcoin.

I get that people wanna use this date to honor Satoshi, but come on, he was super secretive about everything, so the birthday seems fishy.

If he could stay anonymous for so long, there’s no way Satoshi would just drop his real birthday for everyone to see. Knowing that could narrow down who he is, and I don’t think he’d be that careless.

Regardless of if it’s legit or not, I just wanna wish him a happy birthday. He’s the reason a lot of us are able to do what we do with crypto. Plus, Easter’s around, so it’s a great month for celebrations!

I did a quick search for the earliest birthday wish for Satoshi and the oldest I found was from 2016. Anyone got something older? Maybe we should celebrate the profiles instead of Satoshi himself. Seems more fitting.

I definitely think it’s unrelated. There are reports and some dates out there, but for someone who’s hidden their life, why would they disclose something mundane like a birthday?

Seriously, right? A guy who’s avoided being found by top investigators isn’t just gonna slip up and let everyone know his birthday. I get why we celebrate, though. Happy ‘birthday’ to Satoshi!

LOL celebrating a birthday of a mystery man is kinda weird... We can just remember him for Bitcoin. Birthday celebrations are a stretch.

First off, there’s like zero evidence that today is Satoshi’s actual birthday. The only thing out there is something from the P2P Foundation listing April 5, 1975. But that could be just anything, really.

This doesn’t really change Bitcoin prices either. Anyone who’s made big bucks from crypto should at least acknowledge Satoshi. I mean, I’m thankful for the extra income! Happy birthday, Satoshi!

Let’s not ruin the fun. Even if the date’s made up, it’s okay to celebrate the genius behind Bitcoin. Here’s to the creator your legacy is huge!

No way April 5 is Satoshi’s real birthday. A guy or group that’s kept their identity hidden wouldn’t just let that slip. We don’t even know if that name’s real.

Totally agree! We still have no clue if Satoshi is one person or a whole team. So how can we trust anything he’s shared, including info about his birthday?

For sure. If Satoshi’s identity is still a puzzle, it’s impossible to know anything including when he was born. Could just be a random date people decided on.

Sad but true, no one knows the actual birthday. If it was real, we’d be celebrating properly. He’s done so much for the world, it feels odd not to celebrate.

Some of those important dates we celebrate were just picked randomly too. Like Christmas wasn’t even based on a real birth date. So why not just pick one for Satoshi?

I think it’s made up too. No one really knows if Satoshi is even a single person or a group. Still, it’s cool to celebrate him, right?

People celebrate weirder things than this, so why not let it happen?
