Cool, post your thoughts when you get it. By the way, this M21s goes for around 1900, while the M20s is at 2800. Both pull 3300 watts. One does 55TH, the other hits 68TH. You pretty much get 13TH for free power-wise and just pay 900 extra. Doing the math, it's 245 days to break even at those numbers.

Nice, I didn't think you'd go for the 21s. Good to see Whatsminer launching units with that LPM feature. Hopefully, we see it in other models soon. If it runs efficient, could be a solid hosting option.

Ugh, I wish they'd let me use ten of these yesterday.

I'm rolling with 2 M20s demo units, 1 M21s demo, 1 S17 Pro (53TH), 1 T17 (40TH), and a couple of A1041 beta models. Waiting on 1 Inno T3 t50 too. Honestly, if it were up to me, I'd have snagged a hundred S17 Pros when I could for 220k. Should’ve pulled the trigger.

Best pricing was definitely end of Q1 or early Q2. T2T 30T runs pretty well, just missing fan tuning. If the M21s is quiet, that’d be a win. My max is 2200W before needing to swap stuff out.

Ran some tests at high speeds, got around 55.9 TH at 3460 watts definitely loud and industrial. Trying out low speed for 10 hours to see how it performs.

Wait, are you saying your meter showed 000070.00 and after 10 hours 000087.00? That's like 1.7 kWh? Crazy numbers!

Yeah, ten hours later my meter read 001081.67 after starting at 001070.00. That’s close to 16.5 to 17.5 kWh. Low speed on this seems to pull around 57 watts per TH.

For noise, I’ve been chatting with a dude who sells dampeners. He could modify one for the M21s for 150 EUR. Think it’s worth it? Could help with ventilation.

I have doubts about it staying cool at high speeds. It pushes a lot of heat at 3300-3500 watts. The airflow might choke it, causing overheating.

The designer claims the damper cuts are bigger than the fan outlet, so airflow should be fine. I'm considering testing one and sharing results for others.

I get that testing is great, but I feel these models might struggle. They really push the limits on safety for power cords.

Exactly, I've been cautious about how close they operate to the 16A limit. Heard the M20s can drop from 68T to 62T with power adjustments.

Every time I get close to max load it raises red flags for me. If you keep getting close to the limit, those wires are at risk. I've seen failures because of that.

Has anyone tried splitting power for these? I think it sounds sketchy but I might consider it if I can grab those 54TH models.

Why not DIY a 10 AWG cable? There's some solid options out there without breaking the bank.

I use a 30A route for mine, connected straight to the wall. It seems to run okay, but it's pushing amps during the day. I’ve got a ton of circuits to work with.

I prefer not to go straight to the wall either. I'd much rather use a PDU. It's crazy these high-power miners aren't designed with dual cord capabilities like the S17.
