I've noticed more folks stressing over fees lately instead of prices. Figured why not create a thread dedicated to mempool vibes? Instead of a dozen angry threads everywhere, we can just chill here and share thoughts.

Yeah, perfect timing before the holidays! Just what everyone needs, right? Small-time users are really gonna feel the pinch with fees rising. Miners must be loving this whole situation.

Exactly! Miners raking in those sweet high fees for their work on the network. They definitely deserve it. I’m glad we have this thread to air out our fee frustrations rather than scattering our complaints around.

More fees, more problems! I feel the pain, but I usually just receive, not send much. Since I’m doing DCA, I’m not sweating it too much. Just sent a transaction for 15k sats, still under a buck.

Hold up, miners don’t really pick transactions. They just get a cut from the pool’s decisions. It’s not their fault! We gotta look at the real issues developers not fixing exploit problems!

For real! I've got some inside info if you're interested. Heard from Lucius, he's got his head in the game. Also, think we might be seeing some TA soon with this fourth inverse bottom forming.

I’m not blaming miners either. I think they should get rewarded now and then, but the high fees are mainly from ordinals. Developers need to step up and tackle these issues together with the community.

But what if you’re a DCA investor holding tons of small UTXOs? Consolidating those inputs with high fees will be rough. It’s like we’re being pushed back to custodial wallets.

Not everyone’s just receiving. Many here send and receive, and they’re the ones really struggling with these fees. 15k sats is still steep. I remember when 12 sats were considered high!

Totally! It’s good to keep all mempool discussions in one place. Fees rising is a hot topic lately. I think we’ll see more fluctuations in this area. It’s a rollercoaster, really!

True, it’s not just about us being inconvenienced. It’s a bigger issue for the whole Bitcoin community. Difficulty will make us stronger. Exchange wallets might seem good now, but they have their downsides too.

Not much change in fees since this thread started but it’s nice to have this space. Still, people will complain. It’s Bitcoin, it’s always something.

Miners have definitely been thriving since these BRC20s came on board. It stings for those who scored cheap transactions and now face high fees. But hopefully, the mempool calms down.

I don’t think it’s gonna stop anytime soon. That ordinals craze isn’t going away fast! If it drags on, I might start converting my bitcoins if it keeps costing too much.

Definitely something needs fixing. v27.0 might help clear spam from the network, but who knows if it’ll actually work! If we don’t fix it, we’ll just see more token troubles.

Right? My BTC is stuck on the exchange cuz the fees are nuts. I’m worried about withdrawing at 100 sats/vbyte. Mempool could blow up any day!

Let’s say we could eradicate ordinals. What’s next? Just think about the number of transactions we’d need daily for it all to make sense. We need tight solutions!

Fees aren’t dropping at all! Mempool min is showing 150 now, and if you need to transfer, good luck! Fees are ridiculous. Every small investor is suffering.

I had a similar topic earlier about the fees during the first Ordinals hype. This conversation is essential; people want to know when they can send transactions without getting hit hard with fees.

I created almost same topic(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5466022.msg62810292#msg62810292) like this on our local board during the first wave of high transaction fee during the first Ordinals hype. The discussion of Bitcoin fee is really popular because it’s vital when someone needs to transfer their coins. We use the thread to notify if there’s a golden opportunity to send transaction during low fee. The price is not that popular anymore to small holder if they can’t transfer their coin without spending huge chunk of it on fee just to spend their profit.
