Could Bitcoin Be Used for Transactions Across Planets?

So like, do you think one day we could actually use Bitcoin to send money between planets like Earth and Mars? Seems pretty wild... but is it even possible?

Honestly, blockchain doesn’t care about borders. As long as there’s internet, you could send BTC from anywhere, even Mars. No need for a separate blockchain for each planet.

If someone on Mars accepts Bitcoin, then why not? I mean, if we get better tech for communication, Bitcoin could totally adapt to that. It sounds like sci-fi tho, right?

Why would we need a new blockchain? If humans go to Mars, they can use the existing Bitcoin network just fine. Peer-to-peer works without a middleman.

All the mining likely has to stay on Earth due to those time delays. That’s why POS coins might be better suited for space travel.
