Today marks Satoshi Nakamoto's 51st birthday. He was first mentioned on a p2p profile back in April 1995. A lot of crypto platforms are celebrating today. Just a fun reminder that we should acknowledge this yearly.

Uh, you’re a bit late to the party. Happy Birthday to the legend who made Bitcoin! Your info is kinda lacking compared to what’s already been said, maybe lock this thread?

Remember, Bitcoin's whitepaper dropped in 2008. If Satoshi was born in 1995, he would’ve only been around 12 or 13 when Bitcoin was conceived. Are we sure that’s the right birthday?

Someone clearly didn’t do the math. If born in 1995, that makes him 31, not 51.

No one really knows when Satoshi was born. It's all speculation. But if the date is April 5, 1975, then yeah, he turns 51 today. Still, it's just a date mentioned, might not be accurate. But hey, if you are Satoshi, happy birthday!

Where did you learn math? If he was born in 1995, then he would be 31, not 12 or 13. OP, it doesn’t really matter what year Satoshi was born in; he created something huge for crypto. Satoshi is basically a digital hero.

Yeah, but if he was born in 1995, he’d be a kid during Bitcoin’s inception. Crazy to think about.

Honestly, the best theory is that Satoshi was some CIA or NSA person. It makes sense with everything we know. Just some regular dude walking away from billions of dollars? Nah, I don’t buy it. Plus, he never touched his coins, which is odd.

Happy Birthday to a true gem of our time. We might be guessing with the April 5th date, but thanks for everything you did, especially for giving us Bitcoin. It’s our haven for the future.

Could be a fake birth date. Satoshi was all about privacy; why would he put his real info out there? Sounds kinda silly to me.

Check this out, someone posted a pic of Satoshi at his birthday party yesterday. They say he’s actually 60!

Satoshi’s been anonymous since day one, so no one really knows who he is or when he was born. But we should celebrate his contributions. He created a value system that’s really changed lives for the better.

Totally agree! And it’s great nobody posted that ridiculous photo of Dorian and claimed it was Satoshi.

That hat in the photo looks like it came from a Fallout party. I mean, what if I’m out here defusing nukes soon? Just saying.

Lol, right? I just wanna know why editing costs on X now. Who’s pocketing that cash? Paul better prove he’s human before talking to the world.
